It’s 1 a.m. so technically it’s Wednesday. This means tomorrow it’s Thanksgiving. I’m feeling the holiday spirit, and having family come together always feels like a nostalgic memory played in present. Living in the moment fully perhaps. With everything happening in the next month of travel, reunions, and upcoming gigs, I’m putting together a new mixtape called “Flossy Lady.” Maybe you’ve see some of my #FlossyLady tweets. It’s going to be combination of rapping, producing and remixing. I’m feeling really good about it and excited for everyone to listen and enjoy! I recorded a mix recently to “Like a G6” by Far East Movement aptly entitled “Like a DJ.” I’ve had close to 1,000 DJ’s download it and have gotten a very positive response! This is just one many gems getting thrown on this project. Last week I had a great event I DJ’d at in a private Delta hanger with a gigantic plane right in the center of it. Estelle performed and I brought DJ Kontrol along with my mom. Dr. J was in the house, Jovita Moore from Channel 2 News hosted and it was all for a great cause.
